Ear Piercing

Discover the variety of ear piercings from Lisa Eleni. Each of our piercings is made from solid yellow gold or white gold. The piercings not only look beautiful, but also have many advantages due to their unique quality. They can be worn on the ear day and night and are also water proof, nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

There are endless individual styling options for your ear stack. In this article, we'll give you an overview of the different ear piercings and explain what you should look for when buying piercing jewelry.

Helix piercing position on the ear

Helix Piercing

The Helix Piercing is one of the most popular ear piercings. It is located on the upper outer edge of the auricle. The position may vary depending on the anatomy. Both rings and labret Studs can be worn as Helix Piercings. The inner diameter is usually 8mm to 10mm for the rings.

Conch piercing position on the ear

Conch Piercing

A Conch Piercing can be pierced or punched through the ear cartilage. A distinction is made between two variants: Inner Conch and Outer Conch. A labret stud or a ring can also be worn here. The diameter of the conch ring should have a minimum size of 10-12mm, depending on the anatomy of the ear.

Tragus piercing position on the ear

Tragus Piercing

The Tragus Piercing covers the outer ear canal. It is a small triangular piece of cartilage. Either a labret Stud or a small clicker ring can be worn here.

Rook piercing position on the ear

Rook Piercing

The Rook Piercing is a vertical piercing and is pierced through a small cartilage fold in the auricle. Clicker rings are ideal for this piercing. Ideally, a 6mm to 8mm segment ring is worn here.

Lobe piercing position on the ear

Lobe Piercing

The Lobe Piercing is the lowest ear hole on the earlobe. It is the most popular and most frequently pierced piercing hole. With this piercing, you have the choice of whether it should be pierced with a gun or a needle. Almost all types of earrings can be worn at this point. Both large hoops and subtle ear Studs.

High lobe piercing position on the ear

High Lobe Piercing

The High Lobe Piercing is also located on the earlobe. This is the second, third, or sometimes even the fourth ear hole. Ear studs or rings in different sizes can be worn.

Types of Ear Piercings

All piercings can be worn individually or combined into various "Ear Stacks". The ear offers the most piercing possibilities of any body part. Some piercings have double and triple variations, where the same piercing is performed two or three times next to each other.

A distinction is made between cartilage piercings and piercings through fatty tissue. All piercings, except for piercings on the earlobe, penetrate the cartilage tissue. Piercings on the earlobe are called Lobe Piercings or High Lobe Piercings in technical jargon. Piercings through the cartilage tissue include Helix, Conch, Rook, Tragus and Daith.

Our piercing jewelry is usually not only intended for one position, but can be worn in different positions. For example, helix piercings can also be worn as lobe piercings. In addition, pendants and Chain can be attached and connected to each other depending on the occasion and taste.

Piercing closure

Our piercing studs have an internal thread with a length of 6mm and a rod thickness of 1.2mm. Due to the internal thread and flat back, they are ideal for everyday wear. The closure cannot get lost and is comfortable to wear because of the flat back.

Our clickers have a uniform ring thickness. Clicker rings can therefore be used in a variety of ways. The piercing jewelry with the click closure can be opened and closed on the upper part of the ring.

Hinged closures are typically used for more elaborate earrings. For piercings with a hinged closure, the ring itself is thicker than the part where the piercing is hooked into the piercing hole. With hinged piercing jewelry, the earring can be opened in the middle.

Ear Piercing Materials

We only use 14K gold and 14K white gold, set with cubic zirconia stones for our piercing jewelry. Gold is the highest quality material in the jewelry industry. It is water proof and scratch-resistant and retains its shine for a lifetime. Our earrings are also hypoallergenic and nickel-free, and can therefore be worn every day without hesitation.

We have deliberately chosen 5A cubic zirconia stones because they not only have the same visual appearance as diamonds, but also achieve a similar value on the Mohs hardness scale. Cubic zirconia stones are 8.5/10 and diamonds are 10/10. By using 14K gold and white gold in combination with cubic zirconia stones, we produce everyday jewelry for eternity at a relatively reasonable price.

Piercing - Healing, Care and Pain

The pain when piercing through the fatty tissue on the earlobe is significantly less than through the cartilage tissue. The same applies to healing. Every ear piercing and every person is different, which is why the pain can be perceived individually by each person.
Healing is strongly influenced by care. If piercing care is neglected, the ear piercing can become inflamed and healing will be impaired. We have already published a post on the subject of piercing care, in which we explain exactly how to properly care for your piercings.
