14K White Gold Earrings

14K gold means that the alloy has a gold content of 58.5%. In addition to gold, silver, copper, and zinc are included in the alloy. Silver is used to achieve the desired white gold color. To make the earrings resistant to everyday wear, we add small amounts of zinc and copper.

White Gold or Silver?

Compared to silver, white gold has the advantage of not oxidizing. White gold always remains shiny and does not discolor. Jewelry made of silver has significantly lower prices than jewelry made of white gold. This is because gold is worth about 70 times more than silver. Precious metals, like gold, belong to the group of non-renewable commodities, so their price is accordingly high.

Rhodium and Platinum plating

Despite the high proportion of silver in the alloy, a slight yellow tinge is still visible in white gold due to the yellow gold contained in the material. To give the earrings the typical silver-white shine, each earring is plated with platinum or rhodium. Rhodium and platinum are very hard precious metals that can only be scratched by strong mechanical influences. The precious metal rhodium is even much more expensive and valuable than gold.

What stones do we use?

Our white gold earrings are set exclusively with certified 5A cubic zirconia stones, which is the highest quality level. This gemstone is the perfect alternative for diamonds. It is just as flawless visually and has a hardness of approximately 8.5/10 on the Mohs scale. This means that the cubic zirconia stone is very resistant to scratches and abrasions. By using zirconia as a gemstone, we can offer high quality jewelry at a relatively affordable price.

White gold Huggies & Hoop Earrings

Our white gold huggies and hoops are available in different sizes and shapes. The inner diameter ranges from 6mm to 12mm.

We distinguish our earrings based on two different closures. One is the clicker closure, which is used for delicate designs, and the other is the huggie closure, which is a bit sturdier because more material is used in the manufacturing process.

Huggies are better for bigger stones, because they are not so delicate. Clicker look like rings and the clasp is hardly visible. For different occasions you can also combine our huggies and clicker with one of our charms.

White Gold Studs

The internally threaded closure of our studs is perfect for everyday wear. They are very comfortable to wear and also can't get lost because of the internal thread. Our studs can even be used for a freshly pierced ear hole. Because all stud earrings are made out of 14K white gold or 14K yellow gold, they are water resistant. When showering or swimming, their shine as well as color will be preserved.

Solid White Gold Charms

We offer a variety of different charms hat can be hooked into our huggies & hoops. The chains are also compatible with studs. For different occasions, the charms can be mixed and combined with different earrings. That means, one earring can be worn in several variations.

Before buying, it is important to note the size in the item description, because the rings of our charms have different diameters. The smallest ring diameter is 2mm, the largest ring diameter is 2.5mm.
