Why we use 14k gold
14k gold contains 58.5% pure gold. The other components of the alloy give the jewellery stability and its warm gold tone.
Unlike gold-plated jewellery, it is not only the surface that is made of gold. There is no thin gold layer that can wear away over time and expose a different base material. Small signs of wear may still occur, but solid gold can generally be professionally restored.

Which size is right for my piercing?
For hoops and clickers, the stated measurement is the inner diameter. The smaller the diameter, the more closely the ring sits against the ear. A larger diameter provides more space and creates a looser look.
Depending on the design, our collection includes diameters from 6 to 12 mm.
- 6 and 7 mm usually sit particularly close to the ear and are often chosen for tragus, rook or high lobe piercings.
- 8 mm is a versatile size for helix and lobe piercings and a range of ear stack combinations.
- 10 and 12 mm provide more space and are often worn in lobe or conch piercings.
Every ear is slightly different, so the same size can look different from one person to another. Use a piece of jewellery that already fits well as a guide, or ask our customer service team for a recommendation.
If the size you order does not fit as expected, we will exchange it for a more suitable size free of charge. You can therefore order your jewellery without worrying about choosing the wrong size.
Our studs have a thickness of 1.2 mm and are available with either a 6 mm or 8 mm post. Select your preferred length directly on the product page.

Comfortable closures for everyday wear
Our studs have a flat back. This allows the closure to sit comfortably against the ear and creates less pressure than a traditional earring back.
The thread is protected inside the post. The smooth post is comfortable to insert, and the jewellery can then be screwed securely into place.
Clickers open using a small hinge and snap securely into place when closed. The ring closes almost seamlessly, making it particularly comfortable for everyday wear.
